Tips for Keeping Outdoor Planters Looking Great Throughout the Season

Don’t Slack on the Water

The outdoor planters in your yard still need their regular water supply to survive and produce colourful, healthy blooms. Even as the weather starts to cool down, they still need ample water to thrive so it is important that you closely watch the soil and make sure it doesn’t dry out — but also be mindful that you don’t overwater!

Groom the Flowers

Grooming is a critical step to keep your planters looking their best. Deadheading is when you pluck the dead and old blooms from the plant. It takes very little time and keeps the plant looking healthy and it encourages blooming. Pruning outer branches on your flowers also helps you maintain the shape of the annual flowers and plants, and prevents them from sagging, drooping.
